As part of the activities organized by IADK, important professional training for the preparation of pastries and sweets was conducted by SES German expert Gerd Mettler in two buffets previously established by IADK with the aim of empowering widows, at SH. F.M.U "Fazli Greiqevci" in Mitrovica, and "Lasgush Poradeci" in Shtime.
The trainings aimed to improve traditional dough recipes, familiarize and learn advanced techniques in preparing various doughs, which could contribute to enhancing the quality and variety of tasty and healthy products that buffet women can prepare and offer to children in schools.
Gerd Mettler is an internationally recognized expert in dough and pastry preparation techniques and has worked in many countries around the world, offering training and consulting to various individuals and institutions. Therefore, the participating women had the opportunity to practice dough preparation and closely observe the techniques used by Mettler to learn his working methodology.
Through these trainings, IADK made a significant contribution to improving the quality of food products for children, as well as supporting the professional development of women/girls.
