Quince Jam

Ingredients:

1 kg of healthy quince
1 kg 250 grams of sugar
4g of citric acid

Boil the syrup with sugar, then add the lemon balm. Meanwhile, peel the quinces, put them in water with a little citric acid, then grate them and add them to the boiling syrup. The jam is boiled for 30 minutes, occasionally the foam that forms on the surface is removed.

The processed material is poured into sterilized jars and sealed tightly, the jars are rotated for 10 minutes, and then they are pasteurized for 25 minutes from the moment of boiling.

Composted quince

Ingredients: 1 kg of quinces, 400 g of sugar, juice of one lemon.

The quinces are cleaned and cut into squares with a serrated or simple knife. From the sugar and 3/4 liter of water, boil the syrup for 15 minutes over low heat.

Add lemon if the quinces are not too sour,

Add the quinces to boil for 10 minutes. Fill sterilized jars with drained quinces, on top of which hot syrup is poured

The jars are sealed with lids and pasteurized for 25 minutes from the moment they boil.
