Support for the beekeeping sector in Lipjan and Leposaviq

To increase productivity, improve quality, and ultimately generate income for local beneficiaries, IADK has distributed essential equipment to the beekeeping sector in the municipalities of Lipjan and Leposaviq. This initiative aims to empower beekeepers by providing them with the necessary tools to succeed in their efforts. As part of this project, four beneficiaries have been supported in this sector—one from Lipjan and three from Leposaviq. Beneficiaries have received various inputs, including electric centrifuges, duplicators, honey storage cans, and other essential beekeeping equipment. These devices have been distributed to facilitate work, improve efficiency, and enable beekeepers to produce higher quality products. In addition to equipment, the project includes training sessions to equip beneficiaries with the knowledge and skills needed to maximize the use of the tools offered. This cooperation is part of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development," funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and represented by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo. The project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council, while its implementation will be carried out by the Kosovo Agricultural Development Initiative ([NT1]]).
