Within the framework of the project "Empowering the value chain through skills development" funded by GIZ, IADK organized 3 visits study for the beneficiaries of the project in the livestock sector with the aim of further advancement of knowledge about husbandry, hygiene, and feeding dairy cows.
In the municipality of Dragash, farmer Nazmir Piraj was visited, in Farmer Tefik Jashari was visited in Podujeva, and in Malishevë the farmer Riza Morina was visited.
A total of 39 farmers participated in these visits.
During these visits, farmers' experiences were exchanged among themselves, as well as the beneficiaries, had the opportunity to get acquainted with the experience and the knowledge of these hospitable and successful farmers, who have explained the balancing of food rations based on animal requirements according to physiological condition and level of production, hygiene maintenance practices, and standard procedures of the milking process, breeding conditions, and animal welfare.
