STUDY VISIT FOR EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE WITH BENEFICIARIES FROM THE VEGETABLE SECTOR.

VIZITA STUDIMORE PËR SHKËMBIM TË PËRVOJAVE ME PËRFITUES NGA SEKTORI I PERIMEVE.

Within the framework of the project "Empowering the Value Chain through Skills Development" funded by GIZ, IADK organized 4 study visits for the project beneficiaries in the vegetable sector with the aim of further advancing knowledge of vegetable cultivation techniques.
Four groups of farmers from Lipjan, Mitrovica, Prishtina, Skenderaj, Rahovec, Obiliq, Vushtrri, and Podujevë participated in this visit. In total, 44 beneficiaries had the opportunity to exchange their experiences with each other, as well as to learn about the experiences of two businesses: "Agro Buli L.L.C.", "Fidanishtja Godanci" from the municipality of Shtime, and the farmer from Krusha e Madhe, Mr. Kujtim Hoti, who are distinguished in vegetable cultivation in greenhouses.
The beneficiaries had the opportunity to learn about the experience and knowledge of these farmers, who explained in detail all the tasks required during vegetable cultivation in greenhouses, the challenges that may arise in managing diseases and pests, and the importance of correctly identifying the hybrids to be used for cultivation depending on market demands and their resistance to diseases and transportation.
