Challenge Excessive use of fertilizers in the fields remains a major factor in agriculture which is also greatly affecting soil pollution, reducing yield and the occurrence of various diseases in different crops. For influenced by the reduction of soil pollution within the framework of the project "Support for agriculture in Kosovo in the context of integrated management of water sources," samples were taken from 55 apple cultivation farmers, raspberry and potato, sampling was done at different locations in more the goal of having full inclusion of different areas of Kosovo.
For to inform farmers about soil analyses IADK together with EPICENTAR has organized informative sessions in small groups, attended by the farmers from whom the samples were taken, the purpose of the informative sessions was so that farmers are informed as thoroughly as possible about soil analyses and about recommendations on how to continue with the fertilization of lands in the future as it concerns the quantity and method of fertilization.
The informational sessions were organized at the offices of IADK. and were held by Prof. Xhevdet Elezi, who informed each farmer about soil analyses and also distributed calendars for fertilization of the lands in the coming months.
