IADK formalized a cooperation agreement with the municipality of Obiliq on 30.01.2025 to promote agricultural growth and economic empowerment. The partnership aims to create new opportunities for income generation, employment, and sustainable community development.
Over a one-year period, IADK will strengthen cooperation with the municipality of Obiliq, focusing on impactful initiatives that support marginalized communities. Special attention will be given to Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian groups, ensuring greater access to employment opportunities and promoting their economic inclusion.
Within the framework of the agreement, grant recipients will have the opportunity to attend training and receive professional advice to improve agricultural practices. This cooperation is part of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development," funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and represented by the Embassy of Sweden in Pristina. The project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council, while its implementation will be carried out by the Kosovo Agricultural Development Initiative (IADK).
