With the aim of facilitating of the work and the highest quality preparation of the soil inside the greenhouses where vegetables IADK are cultivated in the support package for greenhouse beneficiaries also planned the distribution of motor cultivators-milling machines to 31 beneficiary farmers of the greenhouses.
The distribution of motor cultivator-milling machine was done on September 1 and 2, 2021 to the beneficiaries in the 4 partner municipalities (Vushtrri, Skenderaj, Lipjan, and Viti) where it is being the project has been implemented. It is also in process and will soon be completed the construction of greenhouses for these beneficiaries, as well as the supply of an irrigation system, Accompanying inputs and seeds or seedlings of vegetables for greenhouse planting in the autumn season.
Within the framework of grants support in the fruit and vegetable sector IADK has supported with seedlings of strawberries and accompanying inputs, and two other beneficiaries who have raised strawberry orchards with an area of 1500m², one beneficiary with a mechanism specific to fruit growing, as well as three beneficiaries with greenhouses for strawberry cultivation and flowers.
These activities are implemented within the framework of the project "Improving employment and opportunities for income generation in rural areas of Kosovo" financed by the Donor Bread for the Word from Germany and co-financed by partner municipalities.
