With the aim of advancing farmers engaged in the livestock sector, professional training has been held by the experts of IADK with a group of 15 farmers from the Municipality of Kamenica. Farmers have followed the training program in the cattle farming profile, who duringthe 29 days participation in training, theoretical and practical sessions of modules. The practical training was held on a cattle farm, where a demonstration was carried out of the most important livestock practices applied during cattle breeding.
The modular program of The training is designed in theoretical form 30% and in practical form 70%. Depending on participation, commitment, and passing of the assessment tests, farmers will be certified as "Livestock Technicians" according to Level III of KKK.
After the conclusion of Farmers can apply to the grant scheme for support directly in the livestock sector, with the aim of increasing production and income from livestock activities.
This activity is organized within the framework of the project "Improving employment and opportunities for income generation in rural areas of Kosovo," financed by the German Donor BfdW from Germany and co-financed by the Municipality of Kamenica.
