A roundtable is organized at IADK

"Empowering rural women through professional training and employment" was the topic of discussion at the roundtable organized at IADK.

Present at this event were various actors such as officials from the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, the Director and Officials from the Directors of Agriculture in the municipalities of Shtime, Lipjan, and Mitrovica, regional employment offices, as well as beneficiaries of IADK. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the project's achievements and the challenges encountered during its implementation. Additionally, during this roundtable, findings and recommendations received from the expert engaged in conducting the gender analysis within the project were also presented. At the same time, this roundtable served to discuss numerous topics of interest to women, youth, marginalized groups, relevant institutions, addressing the demands, and the role of various partners in improving the current situation.

From the roundtable, recommendations and reasonable conclusions were drawn regarding opportunities for professional training, employment, and gender equality, which will be relevant for all partners. It is a commitment from everyone that each contributes to the empowerment of women, especially those from rural areas for social and economic integration, to create conditions for youth, women, and marginalized groups to be integrated into agriculture through vocational training and support with grants aimed at generating income.

The director of the organization IADK, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, thanked those present for the discussions and constructive contribution in assisting and demonstrating their readiness for the successful implementation of the project.
