[NT0]] today organized the Closing Event of theProject "Support for the employment of youth and women in rural areas through the development of agriculture." About 50 participants attended this ceremony.
The overall objective of the Project was to to contribute to helping youth, women, and disadvantaged groups in the areas for the creation of new businesses, the creation of conditions for self-employed, providing experience for unemployed students, and increasing their role of employment offices.
The event began with an opening speech and an introduction by results by the Executive Director of IADK, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, and followed by the introductory panel composed of: Mr. Alessandro Bianciardi - Deputy Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Ms. Vesa Broja - Chairwoman of Municipal Assembly in the municipality of Mitrovica, Mr. Faruk Beqa – Deputy Mayor of the municipality of Shtime and Mrs. Jehona Rexha – Acting Director of Executives at the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo.
After the speeches of the panelists mentioned above, MenaXherja of the Project, Blerta Kuçi, gave a presentation of the achievements and results of the project implemented over two years (October 2020 - October 2022).
Among the participants were also municipal representatives, representatives of employment offices, representatives of regional training centers (QAP from both municipalities), beneficiaries of the project from the first year, and and students engaged in practical work.
This event has been concluded with short speeches from one project beneficiary and one student from engaged in practical work. After the conclusion of this ceremony, it is also carried out 1 field visit to a beneficiary (START-UP) in the sector of processing by representatives of the European Union Office , representatives of the municipality of Mitrovica and the project staff.
IADK thanks all participants who shared time to join us duringthis events. This project is funded by the European Union Office in Kosovo and implemented by IADK, with co-applicants from the Municipality of South Mitrovica and Shtime Municipality.
