On November 7, 2025, the Initiative for the Development of Agriculture Kosovo (IADK) and the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo (APRK) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoI) to strengthen cooperation in the field of vocational training and employment promotion in the sector of food processing in Kosovo.
This Memorandum was signed by Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, Executive Director of IADK, and Ms. Jehona Namani Rexha, acting head of to the General Director of APRK, marking the beginning of a The five-year partnership (2025–2030) aims to improve opportunities for training and employment in the field of food processing, specifically in the fruit processing sector, vegetables and dairy, with the aim of increasing employment opportunities for youth, women, and marginalized groups in rural areas.
According to the agreement, IADK will organize and implement professional training accredited by the National Qualifications Authority, while the APRK will support through candidate identification, promotion of training and facilitating employment opportunities after certification.
This cooperation strengthens the connection between education and the labor market, contributing to the economic development of the food processing sector in Kosovo.
