On February 6, 2020, an informative and coordinating meeting was held with the heads of agricultural directorates from various municipalities of Kosovo.
At this meeting, discussions were held about continuing and increasing support for farmers with grants and subsidies in various agricultural sectors, then about the need for coordination and cooperation at the local and central levels, as well as about projects implemented by municipalities last year and those planned to support farmers in 2020.
The Executive Director of IADK emphasized the need for coordination among all actors involved in the development of the agricultural sector, especially the importance of organizing joint meetings with the leaders of the municipal agricultural directorates. He informed the participants about the projects that began implementation last year and continue throughout this year, as well as about new projects that will start during 2020 and beyond, and those that are realistically waiting to begin their implementation.
The participants thanked IADK for this organization and expressed their willingness to cooperate, as well as highly valued and necessary such joint events to exchange good experiences in support of farmers and the development of the agricultural sector.
This activity is organized within the framework of the project "Communities in rural areas raise agricultural skills, have the opportunity to generate income and employment," funded by the German donor BfdW.
