About the project
The organization "Initiative for the Development of Agriculture of Kosovo" ([NT18]]) is implementing the project "Improving Employment and Income Generation Opportunities in the Rural Areas of Kosovo," a three-year project (2023-2025]), supported by the donor "Bread for the World" from Germany and co-financed by partner municipalities.
Among the main activities of the project is support through grants to small farmers, young people, and women in poor economic conditions, who are willing to expand their activities in the fields of agriculture, livestock, beekeeping, and processing of agricultural products, with the aim of creating opportunities for income generation and self-employment.
During 2025, 10 farmers will be supported with grants (equipment) averaging €3,000.00 for the beekeeping sector in the Municipality of Skenderaj.
Therefore, farmers, women, and young people are invited to apply for the above-mentioned grants.
Criteria that must be met for application
Applicants must be from the municipality of Skenderaj.
They should be small, unemployed farmers engaged in the beekeeping sector and have the potential to expand and diversify agricultural activities (priority given to young people aged 18-35).
Have clear ideas about the investments from the grant to align with the resources they have available, which impact revenue generation.
Must own at least 20 beekeeping colonies and have not received grants for beekeeping, live in rural areas with difficult economic conditions (they will have priority).
Be willing to provide training and advice provided by the project.
Be willing to co-finance the project/grant.

The application must contain all the required information and be submitted to the offices of IADK or the offices of the Directorate for Agriculture of the Municipality of Skenderaj, and it can also be sent electronically to the email addresses: hajraleonora@gmail.com and sylejmanbunjaku@hotmail.com.
Along with the application, the applicant must also submit:
A copy of the identity card, and
The family certificate
Note: Selected beneficiaries are required to have proof of land ownership (the "possession sheet"); this document is not required at the application stage.
The application with the other required documents must be submitted no later than 03.04.2025 by 16:00.
