Inauguration of the facility - units for food processing and the professional training program at IADK

For more than one for a decade, IADK has been working towards improving socio-economic conditions by focused on building the capacities of candidates so that they have skills professionals to engage in agriculture, processing, and rural development.

Considering the important aspect of the internship, the professional staff of IADK has been actively engaged in delivering training ranging from theory to practice. Although the teaching conditions have not been ideal, the staff of IADK has used various tools to provide quality training. The need for a food processing facility/unit has existed for a long time, and IADK has for some time preparations have begun to ensure the best conditions for holding trainings that align with the best contemporary practices.

Today, July 7, 2021, IADK after long and challenging work, proudly held the Inauguration ceremony of the Food Processing Facility/Units and the Professional Training Program. Now, at IADK the following will be held practical professional training for candidates in the "Qumështar" programs and "Preservative of fruits, vegetables, and similar" accredited and validated by the National Qualifications Authority, as well as other trainings in food processing.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the Director The executive of IADK, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, said that the construction of this facility is a one of the most important projects since the founding of IADK. Othe subject/food processing unit meets all criteria and provides conditions for the development of practice while respecting the conditions hygienic-sanitary. Therefore, Mr. Bunjaku invited to all interested parties should follow IADK on social networks and the developments of so that they can participate in quality training and be equipped with nationally recognized certificates.

Then, the Minister of MAFRD, Mr. Faton Peci, congratulated IADK for the will and work so far in creating the Program for Professional training in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development as well as the finalization of the subject/units. for food processing, which Kosovo and its citizens greatly need her.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of the Municipality of Vushtrri, Mr. Xhafer Tahiri, he thanked IADK who never stopped working towards the welfare of the most marginalized groups, supporting them with training and grants missing. Now, thanks to IADK, candidates will be able to gain skills professionally and to find it easier to find employment or self-employment, which contributes significantly to the country's economy.

There were 96 participants present at this ceremony, among who were present representatives from the Ministryof Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mayors and representatives of the cooperating municipalities (Vushtrri, Kamenica, Lipjan, Viti). Representatives of organizations also participated international and local (GIZ, CCH, DRC, ADA, USAID, PPSE, PEPEKO), representatives of the food industries, representatives of universities (UMIB, UP). Finally, the Chief Executive Officer also participated. of the Food and Veterinary Agency of Kosovo, representatives of the Schools Professional and Centers for Education and Vocational Training as well as agro organizations processing and women's businesses established by projects of IADK (CFD, BfdW, DRC) who promoted their products.

IADK invites everyone interested parties to continue quality training in the processing sector, food and obtain a certificate recognized throughout the country.
