In the fruit and vegetable sector in the city of Shtime, a new business is being established, led by Ms. Naime Haliti, the beneficiary of the equipment for processing fruits and vegetables.
After professional trainings conducted by experts from IADK with a group of women from various villages in the municipality of Shtime, the beneficiary of the equipment was selected, whose family income is generated from the established business, which will also impact the employment of other women.
Present at this ceremony were the Executive Director of IADK, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, the Director of the Innovation Directorate, Ms. Shpresa Tafa, municipal officials, women participants in the trainings, as well as relatives of the beneficiary.
The activity was made possible within the framework of the project "Professional training and income generation opportunities in agriculture for women and youth living in rural areas of Kosovo," a project supported by the Swiss donor CFD, Shtime municipality, and implemented by IADK.
