[NT1]] participates in the "VET Summit 23 - Vocational Education and Training (VET) Summit in Kosovë.Ky important summit organized by the Kosovo Manufacturers Club and focused on the future of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in the country.
The event will take place on June 13 and 14 at Klan Arena, Prishtina. The Vet 23 Summit addresses the challenges and opportunities of vocational education and training in Kosovo, targeting young people and their training for a coherent labor market in the fields of:
- ICT,
- Food processing,
- Woodworking.
The opening ceremony of this summit was also joined by the Mayor of Prishtina, Mr. Përparim Rama, the Swiss Ambassador to Kosovo, Mr. Thomas Kolly, the German Ambassador to Kosovo, Mr. Joern Rohd, and the leader of the workforce development team at USAID's Economic Growth Office, Mr. Matt Culinnane. The opening speech discussed the importance of education and vocational training in the development of our country and the strong cooperation between the central level, bringing vocational training centers closer, as well as promoting excellence among our nations.
[NT2]] at this event had the opportunity to present activities within accredited fields and validated programs for vocational education and training.
