[NT8]] organized a roundtable to discuss the achievements within the activities of the project "Supporting women and girls in economic empowerment through self-employment and building their professional capacities," attended by 30 participants, the mayor of Viti municipality, Mr. Sokol Haliti, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development (MAFRD), officials and directors from the respective municipalities, representatives of associations, as well as women participants in professional trainings, who were informed about the project results and simultaneously discussed the challenges and addressing issues for the benefit of women farmers.
The roundtable led to a constructive discussion; at the end, recommendations and conclusions were produced that will be addressed to the relevant authorities in order to empower women in the agricultural sector as well as to better integrate them socially and economically.
In conclusion, the director of the organization IADK, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, thanked those present for their participation, discussions, and contributions to this event.
