Participants in this meeting were: Mr. Zenel Bunjaku – Executive Director of IADK, and the panelists were: Ms. Edi Gusia – Chief Executive Officer at the Agency for Gender Equality/Prime Minister's Office, Ms. Shqipe Prekaj – Senior Official for the Protection of Victims of Domestic Violence/Department for Social and Family Services, as well as Ms. Remzije Zekolli – Coordinator of the Human Rights Unit and Gender Equality Officer, present from various local institutions, representatives from the Municipalities of Shtime and Vushtrri, employment offices, as well as beneficiary farmers from the municipalities where the project extends: Shtime, Lipjan, Mitrovica, and Vushtrri.
During the discussion, issues related to public transport were examined regarding women's access to activities and work engagements, the formalization of women's businesses to allow as much funding as possible, property registration in the names of both spouses, the phenomenon of young people leaving the country, inter-institutional cooperation, etc.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the project "Empowering Youth and Women from Rural Areas through Inclusion in Agriculture and Food Processing," funded by the Swiss feminist organization CFD and implemented by the Kosovo Agriculture Development Initiative (IADK).
