[NT0]] signed contracts with the next 7 beneficiaries of 40m2 thermal dryers

On 12.06.2020, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku - Executive Director of IADK signed individual contracts with 7 third beneficiaries from the municipalities of Istog, Rahovec, and Ferizaj (Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Collection Points). The beneficiaries will be supported with thermal dryers with a drying surface of 40m2, which will be modern and will contribute to environmental preservation, energy savings of up to 70%, and will meet the drying needs of MAP growers and collectors.

So far, IADK has supported 17 MAP collection points, beneficiaries of 40m2 thermal dryers.
Thermal dryers with a drying surface area of 40m² are equipped with a reservoir for storing hot water, an appropriate boiler, an inverter for efficient energy use, and a data logger for the temperature and humidity of the MAP drying. This activity will contribute to stabilizing the MAP sector, improving dried products, product consistency and sustainability, and increasing MAP exports.
