With the purpose of the enhancement of the professional and productive capacities of farmers in the horticulture, IADK has previously organized training sessions with two groups of farmers from the municipalities of Skenderaj and Vushtrri, where out of 30 farmers who have completed the training program, 17 have been selected for grant support in the horticulture sector.
Everyone The beneficiaries have expressed their interest in investing in greenhouse construction for vegetable cultivation, therefore this week the construction of greenhouses with an area of 176 m², as well as support with irrigation systems, inputs conveyor, motor cultivator-milling, and supply with vegetable seedlings.
Besides support through training and investments in greenhouse construction, the beneficiaries will to also have professional practical assistance from the experts of IADK during the entire vegetation, as well as study visits aimed at achieving the highest and highest quality productivity from vegetable cultivation
These activities have been carried out within the framework of the project "Improving Employment and Opportunities" for income generation in the rural areas of Kosovo," financed by Donor Bread for the World from Germany and co-financed by municipalities partner.
