CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR GRANTS IN THE AGRICULTURE SECTOR
Organization "The Initiative for the Development of Agriculture of Kosovo" (IADK) is implementing the project "Improving employment and opportunities for income generation in rural areas of Kosovo", a three-year project (2023-2025]), supported by The donor "Bread for the World" from Germany and co-financed by the municipalities partner.
During 2023 it will
to support farmers, youth, and women with grants and training, in
the municipalities of Suhareka, Drenas, Mitrovica, and Podujeva.
Among the activities The main focus of the project is support with grants to small farmers and young people and women, in poor economic conditions, who are willing to expand activities in the field of agriculture and product processing agricultural, with the aim of creating opportunities for income generation and self-employment.
Investments through Grants with an average value starting from €3,000.00 will include the following support for beneficiaries in the agricultural subsectors (vegetable, fruit growing, beekeeping, livestock farming, etc. Priority will be given to vegetable cultivation in greenhouses and open fields, cultivation of strawberries, equipment for improvement of milk quality (lactofreeze and milking machines), equipment beekeeping, innovative ideas that influence income generation, protection of the environment and self-employment.
Therefore, farmers, women, and young people are invited , to apply for the above-mentioned grants.
THE CONDITIONS THAT MUST BE MET TO APPLY FOR GRANTS ARE:
a) Applicants They must be from the municipalities of Suhareka, Drenas, Mitrovica, and Podujeva.
b) To are small farmers (including young people aged 18-35) who are engaged in the agricultural sector, are unemployed, but have the potential to expand and diversify agricultural activities.
c) To have clear ideas and the idea aligns with the resources he/she possesses, and that impacts income generation and the development of agriculture.
d) To are ready to provide training and advice provided by the project and to cooperate with the processing units that collect primary production.
e) To are willing to co-finance the project/grant.
f) To
have not received grants in the last three years, live in rural areas and with
difficult economic conditions (they will have priority).
Applications can be obtained at the offices of IADK and the municipal agricultural offices in Suhareka, Drenas,
Mitrovica and Podujeva, or
