Organization Initiative for the Development of Agriculture of Kosovo (IADK]) is implementing the project "Empowering the value chain through the program skills development", a project lasting 5 months (2022-2023), supported by the donor GIZ from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, mandated by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The main goal of the project is to provide a program for the development of skills for the fruit processing group - vegetables and milk. Within the framework of the project are Theoretical and practical training in various processing modules is planned, such as:
· Milk program module
· Module for the preservation of fruits and vegetables
The goal of this project is to provide a program for the development of skills for the target group, mainly for the women who are part of this sector:
· women who are engaged in the sector of processing;
· women who are interested in engaging in processing sector
The following will benefit from these trainings 30 women for the two modules (12 days of training for a group of 15 participants). 70% of the training will be practical - demonstration, and 30% will be theoretical training.
The project will cover transportation expenses and a symbolic support, as well as a study visit to Kosovo.
All municipalities of Kosovo are involved in the project.
After completing the training, women will be provided with certificates issued by IADk and verified by the National Authority of Qualification (AKK).
