Today, a certification ceremony was held for groups of women who successfully completed the trainings organized by IADK in modules on vegetable cultivation, fruit and vegetable processing, as well as dessert preparation.
Present at this ceremony were the women participants in the trainings, representatives of the municipalities of Shtime and Lipjan, and the staff of IADK, where a total of 48 regular participants in the trainings were certified. From these certified groups, greenhouses of 100 m2 have benefited; 14 women, of whom 9 are in Shtime and 5 in Lipjan. A fruit and vegetable processing point has been established in Shtime and a dessert preparation unit in Lipjan.
This activity was made possible within the framework of the project "Professional training and income generation opportunities in agriculture for women and youth living in rural areas of Kosovo," supported by the Swiss Donor CFD, co-financed by the Municipalities of Shtime and Lipjan.
