[NT7]] organized the workshop with the aim of presenting the results of the gender analysis through research conducted on gender inequalities and barriers related to gender roles and their implications for women, men, boys, and girls in the municipalities of Vushtrri and Lipjan. At such an event, the organization's director, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, thanked all collaborators from the municipalities where the project operates and simultaneously assured that IADK will continue cooperation so that women, men, youth, and minorities living in rural areas are treated equally in terms of employment opportunities, income generation, and awareness for exercising their rights.
During this presentation, the main challenges hindering the engagement of women and youth in agriculture were highlighted. At the end of this event, participants had the opportunity to express their opinions and provide appropriate suggestions for improving the current situation in Kosovo.
The workshop was organized with physical participation (according to the recommendations of IKSHPK) and via the online platform ZOOM by more than 25 participants, representatives from municipalities, the project coordinator and donor, beneficiaries, and staff of IADK.
The research was conducted by gender issues expert Ms. Linda Abazi Morina within the project "Professional training and income-generating opportunities in agriculture for women and youth living in rural areas of Kosovo," funded by the Swiss donor CFD.
