The Kosovo Agricultural Development Initiative (IADK) is a non-governmental organization committed to creating a better environment socio-economically developed in rural areas by supporting activities reintegration of returning people, poverty alleviation, reduction of imports, promotion of agricultural goods, reducing unemployment by including all social groups regardless of religion, ethnicity, or gender
IADK has begun to to implement the "Transhumance - offer of tourism of Kosovo and Montenegro" funded by the European Union, where the overall objective is "Improving the quality and visibility of tourism in relation to the development of heritage and cultural values and as well as the inclusion of transhumance in Kosovo's tourism offer and Montenegro"
IADK will engage a "Project Officer" for this project.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Actively participate in all project activities
- To present the project to stakeholders and to cooperate closely with the institutions to which the project is extended
- To identify the villages and potential beneficiaries
- To distribute goods to the beneficiaries
- Record all information gathered in the field/villages and families in villages
- To organize training for project beneficiaries
- To prepare a report for each activity and for projects upon request
- To participate in trainings and seminars organized by IADK
- To follow and prepare All missions with local and international experts
- To prepare the material for publications, leaflets/brochures
- To carry out other tasks as well to be requested by the Executive Director of IADK]
Key qualifications and competencies:
- University degree from the Faculty of Agriculture, Economics, or Social Sciences
- At least 3 years of work experience in positions of Similar in projects
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite Office
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a multiethnic environment
- Ability to adapt to work team
- Ability to work calmly under the pressure of of the time
- To speak and write languages well: Albanian and English (Serbian preferred)
- Must hold a valid driver's license, category B
