COMPETITION: PROJECT MANAGER(S)

The Kosovo Agricultural Development Initiative (IADK) is a non-governmental organization engaged in creating a more developed socio-economic environment in rural areas by supporting agricultural activities, reintegrating returnees, alleviating poverty, reducing imports, promoting good agricultural practices, reducing unemployment by including all social groups without distinction of religion, ethnicity, or gender

[NT8]] is implementing the project "Support in the employment of youth and women in rural areas through agricultural development" funded by the European Union, where the overall objective is "to increase employment for disadvantaged groups, with a focus on women and youth."

IADK will engage a "Project Manager" for the project being implemented.

The Title of the workplace: "Manager of the Project"

Workplace: Lower Sfaraçak no. 11, 42,000 Vushtrri

Duration: 24 months

Working hours: Full

Tentative start date of work: 20.11.2020


Job description:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation of the project objectives and the coordination of work on a daily basis.


Duties and responsibilities

  • To manage and coordinate everyone the progress of the project
  • To manage and coordinate the work of the project workers
  • To present the project to the parties of interest
  • To manage tasks and communication with donors, partners, co-applicants, and municipalities where the project is extended
  • To ensure the visibility of the project and to communicate with the media and stakeholders
  • Actively participate in monitoring all project activities
  • To prepare and finalize everything the reports of IADK, on a regular basis
  • To prepare materials for publication, leaflet/brochure
  • To monitor payments and manage of the budget
  • To coordinate and participate in regular meetings with stakeholders & the IADK office
  • To identify and propose activities News for projects
  • To identify potential experts of who will be involved in the project
  • To be efficient in implementing all the above-mentioned activities within the framework of the project
  • To also perform other tasks to be requested by the Executive Director of IADK]



Qualifications and competencies Main:

  • University degree from the Faculty of Agriculture, Agro-Economics, and Economics
  • At least 3 years of work experience in project management (preferred in European Union funds)
  • Experience in media communication and the audience
  • Administrative experience and knowledge in human resource management and legislation
  • Experience in reporting, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Ability to lead a team and Activities within the framework of the project
  • Willing to assess and undertake Initiative related to complex project situations
  • Negotiation and persuasive skills for represented the interests of the project
  • Flexibility in analyzing and assessment of issues
  • Skills in research, analysis, and preparation of various papers and documents
  • Good organizational skills and self-motivating
  • Ability to work in a multiethnic environment
  • Ability to work calmly under the pressure of of the time
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite Office
  • To speak and write languages well: Albanian, English, and Serbian (favorite)
  • Must hold a valid driver's license category B
