IADK is ongoing supporting beneficiaries with training within the framework of the plant project medical and aromatic substances. In this way, influencing the enhancement of knowledge and cultivation skills up to the final production cycle of medicinal plants and aromatic, which will certainly later be reflected in higher production and of higher quality, this time the training focused especially on drying medicinal and aromatic plants.
The expert engaged by IADK conducted training for beneficiary farmers, MAP cultivators. During this training, participants received information about drying plants as one of the main processes, Farmers also had the opportunity to discuss and exchange their experiences Among which the advantages and disadvantages of natural dryers and artificial, drying duration depending on various factors, Drying characteristics of different types of MAPs, main factors that affect the preservation of the color and structure of plants, the best time of harvesting, care regarding the drying thickness in the dryer, adherence to the parameters of temperatures during drying, etc.
Besides the theoretical aspect of understanding drying as an important process, participants held the practical training part, closely observing drying natural and artificial from various MAP crops.
