During the month of February 2026, the following were signed Cooperation Agreements (MIA) with 4 partner municipalities: Malishevë, Klina, Skenderaj and Vushtrri, where the project will be implemented "Improvement employment and income-generating opportunities in rural areas", a three-year project (2026-2028]), funded by the donor BfdW from Germany, which aims to support farmers, women, with grants and professional training, young people and students.
The project will be implemented in cooperation and co-financing with the aforementioned municipalities, and conditions are expected to be created for beneficiaries who, through agricultural activities and processing of agricultural products, to generate income that improves the socio-economic status of the population, especially in rural areas, where the project will be expanded.
IADK has found the willingness of by the mayors of the municipalities, who have expressed their interest in to collaborate and co-finance projects that impact growth production and improving the well-being of the population in rural areas. They thanked IADK and donors to provide opportunities to support farmers such as in the aspect of professional development as well as investments through grants, for to create conditions for the establishment or expansion of their production capacities.
