On the date 10.10.2025 the Kosovo Agriculture Development Initiative (IADK), within the framework of the project "Improving employment and opportunities for income generation in rural areas of Kosovo," supported by donor Bröt für die Welt (BfdW), organized a a study visit to the KRUSHA Agricultural Corporation in Krusha e Madhe of Rahovec. Fifteen women and girls from the Municipality of Skenderaj participated in this study visit, who attended professional training in the program "Fruit Preservatives, vegetables and similar."
The main goal of this visit was to motivate women and network them in the food processing sector, through the recognition of best practices successful and sustainable, applied by KRUSHA, one of the most well-known enterprises in the country for the processing and preservation of vegetables.
During the visit, they had the opportunity to get to know each other up close to the processing technological processes as well as the inspiring history by Ms. Fahrije Hoti for the establishment and development of the KRUSHA Cooperative. This The visit was highly appreciated by the participants; for many of them, it was a a motivating experience that proved that through proper commitment and support, Women can play a key role in the development of agriculture and the economy local.
