CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR TRAINING AND GRANTS IN THE AGRICULTURE AND FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PROCESSING SECTOR

The organization "Initiative for the Development of Agriculture of Kosovo" (IADK), is implementing the project "Improving Employment" and opportunities for income generation in rural areas", a three-year project (2026-2028), of which supported by the donor "Bread for the World" from Germany and co-financed by the partner municipalities.

During 2026, farmers, young people, and women with grants and training, in the Municipality of Malishevë, in sectors such as:

· Grants for the establishment of greenhouses and strawberry orchards

· Professional training for livestock (20 days) and grant support

· Trainings professional for 15 women/girls in fruit and vegetable processing (20 days) and grant support

For obtaining grants in the livestock and processing sector, fruits and vegetables, the pre-selected ones will be given 20 days trainings according to programs validated by the National Qualifications Authority (AKK), and after certification, they apply to the grant scheme.

Therefore, farmers, women, and young people are invited , to apply for the grants of Above.

CRITERIA THAT MUST BE MET TO APPLY FOR GRANTS AND THE TRAININGS ARE:

a) Applicants They must be from the Municipality of Malishevë.

b) To are small farmers (including young people aged 18-35) who are engaged in the fruit and vegetable sector, unemployed, but have the potential to expand and diversify their activities agricultural.

c) Farmers/young people who have completed their education primary that are engaged in the livestock sector, are unemployed, but have potential to to expand and diversify livestock activities.

d) Women/girls who have completed primary education do not are employed and work or have potential for the production and processing of trees and vegetables.

e) To have clear ideas, and the idea aligns with the resources he/she possesses and has impact on income generation and agricultural development.

f) To are ready to provide training and advice provided by the project and to cooperate with each other in production, collection, or processing of agricultural products.

g) To are willing to co-finance the project/grant.

h) To have not received grants in the last three years, live in rural areas and with difficult economic conditions (they will have priority).

Applications can be collected and delivered at the offices of IADK's or the municipal office for agriculture in Malishevë.
