Nine greenhouse beneficiaries from the municipality of Vushtrri participated in this visit, where they were first introduced to the cultivation practices in the demonstration greenhouse of IADK, as well as the investments made in this greenhouse in terms of digitalizing the irrigation and ventilation system and adapting to climate change.
Then, farmer Selim Kosumi from the municipality of Vushtrri was visited, who had cultivated vegetables (tomatoes and cucumbers) in a 0.40 ha greenhouse, and during the visit he shared all his successful experience in vegetable cultivation, including soil preparation, types of fertilizers used, types of hybrid cultivated vegetables, planting, and levels of care for vegetables.
The second visit was to farmer Vehbi Gashi in the municipality of Mitrovica, who also shared his experiences in vegetable cultivation, especially planting, cultivating, producing, and marketing green salad.
The visits made during this day motivated the beneficiaries to dedicate themselves even more to their greenhouse activities, while also exchanging their experiences during vegetable cultivation in the greenhouses obtained through the project.
