Inauguration of the Fruit, Vegetable and Similar Processing Units “Eljesa BSH” and “Rejana EHN sh.p.k” in the Municipality of Skenderaj
On 19.12.2025, the inauguration ceremony of the new units, for fruit, vegetable and similar processing “Eljesa BSH”, headed by Fidajete Shala and “Rejana EHN sh.p.k” headed by Sabahate Shala, was held in the Municipality of Skenderaj.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Executive Director of IADK, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, Mr. Sabit Ferizi, Head of the Agriculture Department of Skenderaj Municipality, as well as family members and relatives of the beneficiaries. Their presence highlighted the broad institutional and community support for initiatives aimed at the economic development of rural areas and the empowerment of women entrepreneurs.
This support was made possible after professional trainings conducted by IADK, where in-depth knowledge was acquired on the processing of fruits and vegetables and other similar products, as well as hygienic practices and the use of professional equipment.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the project "Improving employment and income generation opportunities in rural areas of Kosovo", supported by the German donor Brot für die Welt (BfdW) and implemented in cooperation with the Municipality of Skenderaj.
