IADK Completes Business Management Trainings with Women from the Municipalities of Lipjan and Gračanica

Initiative for the Development of Agriculture in Kosovo (IADK) has successfully completed two three-day business management trainings, organized following a preliminary informational session with the municipalities of Lipjan and Gračanica. The information session with the municipalities ensured a special commitment and full readiness to support the participants throughout the trainings.

A total of 13 participants attended the trainings, six women from the municipality of Lipjan and seven from the municipality of Gračanica, who had the opportunity to advance their knowledge and skills in key areas of business development. The trainings covered practical topics such as financial management, marketing, human resource management, and business plan development. During the three-day sessions, participants engaged in interactive discussions and practical exercises, which helped them strengthen their capacities for developing sustainable and successful business ideas. At the conclusion of the trainings, all participants received certificates of participation. Beyond the technical knowledge gained, these trainings conveyed an important message that the economic empowerment of women, especially in rural areas, is achievable when they are supported and encouraged to take an active role in shaping their future.

This activity was carried out within the framework of the project “Seeds of Empowerment: Women in Agriculture,” implemented by the Jahjaga Foundation and supported by UNMIK
