The psychological importance of violence against women
The psychological importance of addressing violence against women is very great, because violence does not only have physical consequences — it deeply affects the mind, emotions and identity of women. Therefore, IADK has organized psychological training with Ms. Arlinda Kasumi Shabani, whom we thank very much for the contribution she has given to the participants of the GIGVA group. This training served as a safe space for discussion, reflection and empowerment, where women shared experiences, challenges and practical ways to support each other. Through open conversations and interactive exercises, the importance of awareness-raising, emotional support and raising their voices against any form of violence was emphasized.
This activity was supported by the project /“Empowering women, men and youth living in economically challenging rural areas, to establish sustainable livelihoods through agricultural and food processing activities” , supported by the Swiss donor FREIDA.
Together we are stronger! 💜
Violence has no place in our lives!
Let's continue to break the silence and raise awareness!
