IADK Completes Food Processing Training with Women from the Non-Majority Community in Novo Brdo Municipality

From July 17 to August 1, 2025, ten women from the non-majority community in the Municipality of Novo Brdo participated in a five-day training on the preservation of fruits and vegetables, aiming to strengthen their knowledge and skills in food processing and storage.

The training was delivered through both theoretical and practical sessions, focusing on key aspects of food safety, hygiene, and traditional and modern processing methods. This approach supported the development of hands-on skills that can be directly applied in home settings or small-scale agro-processing businesses.

At the end of the training, all participants were awarded certificates of participation.

This activity was implemented as part of the project “Seeds of Empowerment: Women’s Rights in Focus”, implemented by the Jahjaga Foundation and supported by the Transition Promotion Program of the Czech Republic – CzechAid.
