For this purpose, within the framework of the Technical Support activity, for Agriculture in Kosovo, the IWRM-K Program, besides providing support with devices, through its partners IADK/Epicentar have started hosting training for the 50 beneficiaries of the second cycle program (17 cultivators of apple and 33 raspberry growers). Experts have provided training for the rational use of water for irrigation through the use of data about the soil moisture provided by meteorological stations supported by The IWRMK Program.
Farmers of the IWRM-K program will continue to benefit from support with advice, grants, and monitoring aimed at increasing production and quality, the reduction of pollution in Kosovo's rivers and at the same time reducing uncontrolled water use.
