Study visits have continued with farmers and collection points who are cultivators, collectors, and processors of medicinal and aromatic plants.
The purpose of the visit was to exchange experiences among producers, collectors, and processors of MAP products from different regions of Kosovo.
During this visit, participants had the opportunity to visit the Organic Herb collection point in Siga, Peja municipality, which are cultivators, collectors, processors, and exporters of MAPs. Attendees were introduced to the cultivation methods of annual and perennial products, the plant drying process, and the packaging, watering, and export of the products.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the project "Supporting the BMA value chain through job creation and export continuation," supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, mandated by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.
