With the current pandemic affecting the entire country and whose consequences remain difficult to predict, carrying out activities is difficult. However, the issue of continuity of activities and services for farmers is essential.
The teams of IADK are working around the clock to be close to the farmers with online training and various supports. Just last week, IADK conducted 7 trainings with beneficiary farmers of projects and various agricultural sectors.
Within the framework of the project "Supporting the MAP value chain through job creation and export continuation," supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, mandated by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, two trainings were conducted on the topics: Record-keeping, Farm Management, and Traceability.
Within the framework of the project "Economic Inclusion of Repatriates through Agriculture in Rural Areas and Capacity Building through Vocational Training," funded by Deutsche Geselchaft für internationale Zsammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, mandated by the Federal Republic of Germany, training was conducted on the topic: Preparing the greenhouse for seedling planting.
Within the framework of the project "Professional Trainings and Income Generation Opportunities in Agriculture for Women and Youth Living in Rural Areas of Kosovo," funded by the Swiss donor CFD, 4 trainings were conducted on the topics: Plant Protection from Diseases and Insects and The Harvest/Maturation Period of Vegetables for Beneficiaries from Vushtrri and Mitrovica.
