120 FARMERS WERE SUPPORTED WITH DIRECT ADVICE AND EQUIPMENT IN THE VEGETABLE AND FRUIT SECTOR!

MBËSHTETËN 120 FERMERË ME KËSHILLA DIREKTE DHE PAISJE NË SEKTORIN E PERIMTARISË DHE PEMËVE!

[NT36]], within the framework of the project "Empowering the Value Chain through Skills Development" funded by GIZ, has provided direct advice and equipment support for farmers in the vegetable and fruit growing sector.
120 farmers have received 5 direct tips from experts at IADK on topics such as soil preparation, irrigation, plant nutrition, plant protection measures, harvesting/storage, and best practices for plant pruning (winter and summer pruning). These recommendations aim to better integrate farmers into the value chain, generate income, promote self-sustainability, and empower farmers to manage their agricultural work independently.
In addition to direct support with advice/training, beneficiaries have also been supported with equipment that is absolutely necessary for daily work, such as "battery-powered sprayers and fans" and "scissors for pruning trees (both short and long)".
