IADK and the Municipality of Leposavić have signed contracts with 34 beneficiaries with the aim of strengthening agricultural and economic activity. This support aims to generate income and self-employment opportunities for the beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries have received various agricultural equipment, including greenhouses, mechanization, and tools for beekeeping and livestock. This assistance is especially focused on Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian groups, as well as on minorities and marginalized groups.
This cooperation is part of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development," funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and represented by the Embassy of Sweden in Pristina. The project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council, while its implementation will be carried out by the Kosovo Agricultural Development Initiative (IADK).
