Like all other businesses, the confectionery sector has also been affected by the pandemic, and in our case, effects have also likely been seen in the business of Ms. Sahadete Ibrahimi, who started her business in 2019.
Thanks to the support she received from IADK and the Swiss donor, she is the beneficiary of the entire confectionery production line. Ms. Ibrahimi has already contracted various restaurants and pastry shops in the Municipality of Lipjan, which she supplies with different sweets that she produces in her business. With the rise in popularity of her products, "Lindi Aas" began to receive more orders from numerous clients where she was making continuous progress.
Since the coronavirus outbreak has closed shops, restaurants, businesses, and events throughout Kosovo, an impact has also been observed on product production and a decrease in revenue in this business, where Ms. Ibrahimi expressed this through decoration in the dessert she prepared.
Despite the consequences of the pandemic and the decline in sales, to survive this situation, "Lindi Aas" offers the option to take away sweets or have their orders delivered to customers' homes.
