15 candidates are selected - young people for participation in the trainings

The organization "Initiative for Development" of Agriculture of Kosovo" (IADK), is implementing the project "Empowering Youth and women from rural areas through involvement in agriculture and food processing" three-year project (2021-2023), supported by the Swiss donor CFD.

The project will include the municipalities of Vushtrri and Lipjan, which are project partners.

This project will to contribute to helping young people, women, and disadvantaged groups in rural areas to create new businesses, to create conditions for self-employed and conditions for income generation.

Within the framework of the activity of A total of 62 have applied to the Youth Support Projects in Agriculture candidates. Based on the criteria set out in the project, the selection was made of 15 candidates for 5-day training in farm management, the preparation of the business plan and agricultural production techniques. After the trainings, the youth will have the opportunity to apply for support grants in the subsectors of agriculture (vegetable growing, livestock, beekeeping, fruit growing, and poultry farming).
