IADK continues to contribute to helping youth, women, and groups in disadvantaged positions in rural areas to create new businesses and to create conditions for self-employment. On September 8, 2021, signed contracts with 27 beneficiaries from the South Mitrovica Municipality and the Municipality Increases for support with agricultural equipment worth €3,000 (self-employment) and €5,000 (start-up).
The Director Executive of IADK – Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, Mayor of South Mitrovica Municipality – Mr. Agim Bahtiri, and the Mayor of Shtime Municipality – Mr. Naim Ismajli have signed contracts with first-year beneficiaries during two ceremonies of the signing of contracts in the respective municipalities that are partners, and co-financiers of the project.
During In the first year of the project, a total of 29 beneficiaries are planned. Beneficiaries of this project will be supported with agricultural machinery, equipment for food processing, beekeeping, poultry farming, livestock farming, and greenhouses. Beneficiaries of the €3,000 grant will be self-employed, while the €5,000 grant recipients will register individual businesses, employ themselves, and at the same time also worker.
