Today, on the date 11.05.2023, the certification ceremony of 30 candidates from the municipality of Shtime was held, among whom 15 candidates were from the youth group and 15 others were women and men.
In the youth group, a 5-day capacity-building training was initially organized on topics such as preparing business plans, farm management, and production techniques.
Meanwhile, for the women's and men's group, initially 5-day capacity-building trainings were organized on topics such as business management and record-keeping, human rights, decision-making, and advocacy and lobbying methods towards public institutions.
[NT2]] is implementing the project "Empowering Youth and Women from Rural Areas through Inclusion in Agriculture and Food Processing," a three-year project ([NT1]]), supported by the Swiss donor CFD and including the municipality of Shtime within the project. Meanwhile, the certificate distribution was carried out by the Executive Director of [NT3]], Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, and the Director of the Directorate for Economic Development, Mr. Kastriot Shabani, who congratulated the candidates for their dedication shown during the training.
After completing the training, all participating candidates will be given the opportunity to apply for a grant in the agriculture and food processing sector.
