IADK within the framework of the medicinal plants project has Training sessions were held to build the capacities of the staff of IADK. On this occasion, IADK engaged expert Sokol Staff for conducting trainings, where the staff of IADK had the opportunity to expand of knowledge about organic production and cultivation practices according to European Union regulations.
During the 10 (ten) day training, topics of which have included organic cultivation and more. Training participants have gained knowledge about building the internal control system for group certification.
Considering the development of agriculture organic in Kosovo and beyond, trainings of this kind are very important for the proper development of this sector. Some of the topics covered During this training, the following are included:
- Methods of organic production throughout the value chain according to EU regulations 834/2007 & 889/2008
- The construction of the internal control system (ICS) and its practical implementation
- Identification and risk management in organic production
- Management of waste in organic production
IADK believes that this training, including Other trainings conducted earlier will have a positive impact on development of agriculture and especially organic production in Kosovo. IADK continuously works on capacity building with the aim of addressing issues in agriculture with the highest possible professionalism.
During this training, they managed to get certified 8 (eight) participants from the staff of IADK.
