With the aim of facilitating connections with buyers of agricultural products (medicinal aromatic plants) and the project beneficiaries as producers of these products, IADK has helped sign five (5) year contracts for we will distribute products with the 20 project beneficiaries.
Most of the beneficiaries have signed contracts with the company "AgroProduct", while some of them are with the company "Organic Herb".
These 20 farmers from the municipalities of Peja and Istog supported with grants for cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants on an area of 2000-2500 m², although The climatic conditions were not very suitable during the growing season for due to a long period of lack of rainfall, have reached a good and quality production of MAPs, as well as have benefited from a new experience in their cultivation.
Signing contracts for the sale and purchase of products will affect the continuation of MAP cultivation and the expansion of cultivation areas, by contributed to income generation and employment.
This activity was organized within the framework of the project "Creation of jobs in agriculture" funded by the European Union through the IPA II cross-border cooperation program between Montenegro and Kosovo.
