The Initiative for the Development of Agriculture of Kosovo (IADK) is a non-governmental organization committed to creating a more developed socio-economic environment in rural areas by supporting agricultural activities, reintegrating returnees, alleviating poverty, reducing imports, promoting good agricultural practices, and reducing unemployment by including all social groups regardless of religion, ethnicity, or gender.
[NT6]] is implementing the project "Empowering Youth and Women from Rural Areas to Engage in Agriculture and Food Processing," funded by CFD, where the overall objective of the project will focus on the following issues:
- Building the professional capacities of women/men and youth
- Empowering women/men and youth towards income generation
- The integration of women/men and youth into socio-economic activities through the creation of connections with relevant actors from the public and private sectors.

Job description:
The Project Manager in this project engagement will have overall responsibility for the successful implementation of the aforementioned project (but not limited to) in coordination with the Executive Director of IADK. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- To manage and coordinate the entire progress of the project
- To manage and coordinate the work of project employees
- To present the project to stakeholders
- To manage work and communication with donors, partners, co-applicants, and the municipalities where the project is located
- To ensure project visibility and communicate with the media and stakeholders
- Actively participate in monitoring all project activities
- To prepare and finalize all reports of IADK on a regular basis
- To prepare materials for publication, leaflets/brochures
- Monitor payments and budget management
- To coordinate and participate in regular meetings with stakeholders & the IADK office
- To identify and propose new activities for projects
- To identify potential experts who will be engaged in the project
- To be efficient in implementing all the above-mentioned activities within the framework of the project
- University degree in Economics, Agriculture, or similar
- At least 3 years of work experience in management and/or project management (preferably with donor projects)
- Experience in communication with the media and the public
- Administrative experience and knowledge in human resource management and legislation
- Experience in reporting, monitoring, and evaluation
- Ability to lead a team and project activities
- Willing to assess and undertake initiatives related to the complex situations of the project
- Negotiation and persuasive skills to represent the project's interests
- Flexibility in analyzing and evaluating issues
- Ability to research, analyze, and prepare various papers and documents
- Good organizational and self-motivation skills
- Ability to work in a multiethnic environment
- Ability to work calmly under time pressure
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- To speak and write well the languages: Albanian, English, and Serbian (preferred)
- Must have a driver's license and experience
