To facilitate land cultivation and especially the management of weeds in plots planted with medicinal and aromatic plants, IADK on dated August 9, 2021, distributed the motor cultivators to 20 beneficiaries of grants for the cultivation of MAPs in the municipalities of Peja and Istog.
In addition to the rotary tiller, the motor cultivators are equipped also with a mower, which will be used for mowing medicinal plants aromatic, thus significantly facilitating the implementation of agrotechnical measures in this activities.
Also, in the grant support package, the beneficiaries in addition to supplying seedling material, an irrigation system, and the mentioned above, they have also been supplied with drying greenhouses for drying flowers and the vegetative mass of medicinal aromatic plants.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the project "Creation of jobs in agriculture" funded by the European Union through the IPA II cross-border cooperation program between Montenegro Mourning and Kosovo.
