On the date 13.10.2021, IADK completed the distribution of the support packages for the group of farmers from the Municipality of Kamenica, who attended the trainings professionals in the livestock sector. IADK alongside the advancement of farmers in the professional aspect, and has also enabled them to apply to the scheme of grants for direct support in the livestock sector, in the amount of 3,000.00 €.
Out of 13 farmers participating in the trainings, 10 were selected for support through various agricultural mechanisms. This support will facilitate the application process of adequate techniques for proper management of livestock farms, by influenced by the increase of production capacities. Moreover, some of them are supported by milking machines, milk cans, and lactofreeze, which will serve in the collection, storage, and improvement of milk quality.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the project "Improvement of employment and opportunities for income generation in rural areas of Kosovo", funded by donor BfdW from Germany and co-financed from the Municipality of Kamenica.
